Steve you know you had that fight won , you out pointed him the first 2 rounds, I trained enough boxers to know what I see !
As you know Steve you have more than enough Heart but you ran just low enough on "Gas" to let him snatch the 3rd round by a hair, the judges need some new glasses by the way!
And as you know the judges let the last round taint their judgement regaurdless of the other rounds!
You have two of the best trainers in the World Nick and Sergio, they give you the skills but can't give you the "Gas" for the last round , that's where you have to push yourself and change a little of your training to finish the last 30 seconds of a fight in a full out sprint!
Can either do it in your "Road Work" or your "Sparring" sessions by having a corner man/coach yell out a "Code" Like 6 or 7 which means 30 seconds left "Go all out", Dig Deep", if done at each training session or "road work" it becomes "Programed into your mind " that when you here some one yell 6 you "turn it up" and "Blow yourself out" leaving nothing on the table!
I know it's easier said than done but i've seen this method work very well to "steal the last round"!
You are a better fighter than Luis and will beat Him next time around just like you did Stann!
By the way your left high kicks are awesome but mix in a lot more knees next time!
You're still the Man Steve and you'll get your Title, just fight Smart and use all your Skills !
Pulling for ya Bro
Pete the Greek, Pahrump, Nv
PS if they still sell it get some "Quicken" for the "Fast Twitch muscle fiber" and take it on a regular basis if you don't already!

What an awesome fight! It was easily the best display of MMA skills of the night. I agree with ya Pete, I thought Steve was going to get the decision as well but I am naturally biased in that direction
I am never disappointed in Steve's fights (maybe a little in his opponent prior to this one, not in the same league). They are always full of suprises and varying styles.
What was up with that Silva match? It was more boring than a re-run of "General Hospital" from the 60's

I agree with both of you and I absolutely was disappointed in the fact that the UFC did not give Steve and Luiz the "Fight of the Night" bonus as this was by far the fight with the most talent displayed.
